Incredible. This is a really tragedy.
We need to help japan.
Japanese people has lost everything: family, health, friends, house, happiness.
We need to support, as we can, to help them to restart.

After to see the terrible images of the tsunami that distroied cities and countries, it is incredible to see their "composure" to face this disaster. As told from Val, Japanese people has lost everything and it is our "MUST" to help them in any way. Also a very short offer done from all Italian people can contribute to help their recovery. I've already sent my SMS to CRI, and more than one.

TERRIBLE!!!!
There aren't words to describe the nature force.
I've always had a deep appreciation for the Japanese people and I feel duty-bound to help these people.

When the Nature rebels against the man is a real disaster…and unfortunately when these things happen the humanity is really insignificant and weak.
We should have a moral obligation, if we can and we want, to help these people that have nothing.
I and my family have already sent sms.
Bye
Tiziana

Yesterday a friend of mine sent me an sms..."forward this sms to other 10 friends of yours, people you love, and a miracle will happen to you; otherwise, if you don't do this..." you can easily imagine what was following. It's not the first time I receive by some friends of mine such stupid chain e-mails/sms...
And the very day I read the post by Raj.
It's difficult to think that in our world can coexist chain e-mails and people who die because of human stupidity, or starvation, or lack of the bare essentials...But it's only one of the huge contradictions that are part of our society, of world, of mankind.

So I sent 10 sms to help Japan, I try to give my little contribution, and sent an e-mail to all my friend to ask for their little contribution. I hope that all together we can do the difference!
Everyone of us, I'm absolutely sure, can give something!

Federica S,

I completely agree re: chain mails. I mean, if the message is important enough you should expect your friends, family and other contacts to whom you forward messages to to have the good sense to share with their own contacts. By adding this extra "enticement" one often invites the very reaction one wants to avoid...which is to trash the email immediately.

On a related point, a personal and heartfelt thanks from my wife Yuko and I for any help, financial and emotional, on behalf of the victims of the earthquake and subsequent devastation in Japan.

Hi, I was born in a town near L'Aquila. My parents live where I was born. I know the sensation of those moments, is terrible. I think that nature is rebelling and I believe that people to deal with the planet about how to live with more love and respect.
I think every day to Japanese people and I'm sad for them But I Know that people are strong and well organized and will recover from this disaster.
Good luck Japan

I thing like Tiziana. The Man often forgets that he is a little point in the universe and that he can't control and dominate the nature.
The nature is wonderful but pitiless, too. The Earth hosts the Man and the fate decides our future. This time a bad luck has hit Japanese people and we must help them in every way.

I think that only people who have experienced similar disasters can understand the tragedy of these people. I hope that even in this case, the world can help these people rebuild their country to begin to live again.

Hi everybody...
I send, once a week, a messagge to Italian Red Cross to give a little contribution for this calamity but I think that anyone can't give to Japanese people what they lost.
This is a very disaster and now the nuclear radiation represent another problem for their life.

I send a bear hug to Japanese people.

Bye bye

Cristina Naples

what happened in Japan is a tragedy but I would like to focus on the reaction of the people: I've seen a dignity, an organisation and an order really to admire. I hope that the rest of the world supports this country.

This is an important initiative.
The disaster in Japan is terrible. Earthquake and tsunami are not the main problem because the worse danger is the nuclear(I don’t like the nuclear plant; the Energy isn’t clean and produces radioactive waste).
I have some friends in Japan and, last week, they said me the situation, at least in Tokyo, was better. Til two week ago there were many problems with the electric powered and with transport.
I hope the situation will to improve.

The nuclear alert is increasing. All the world is praying for Japanese people. They are an example for the world because they are strong and ready to start again. After the Earthquake the Japanese built a motorway in a week. It's incredible...

I'm very sorry for the Earthquake that struck the Japan. In addition to the victims and damages, now the Japanese are forced to live daily with the fear. But like Laura said, this is a strong and humble people and I hope that people will recover as soon as from this situation.

Bye

Cristina.

The last news told that the nuclear reactor 2 of Fukuskima's central has been closed.
The radioactive loss was the cause of the levels of iodine in sea.
The levels are very high, exceed the limits permitted by low of the thousand times
Now the situation is under control.
We continue to hope for Japanese people.

Raj..

The earthquake that struck the japan it was very srong, it caused serious damage, people,structure..., but the main problem now is the nuclear and how to stop the radioctive and nuclera radiation.I hope all the world take the lesson after this calamity, in order to stop any project about nuclear.

japanease are very srong and serious people, I'm sure shortly after they start to build evry thing they loss.

All world must to help japan...

The earthquake damaged Japan less than two months ago, but now papers, radio and Tv don't talk anymore about it. Why?
Are the nuclear radiations disappared?
Are all healty the fishes?
The mass media give much importance to a news, but after few days they don't take an interest for it.
I don't subscribe this.

I would to know why the media do not speak more of japan?
Why they do not tell how the japanese are doing
the rebuilding after tzunami?
As always the media talk about of the incident or disaster on the same day and subsequent days, but after all is silent. I have the certainty that the Japanese people are working hard.
I think that is right to speak more because it could be a life lesson and of morality for all world

Yesterday I red an article in internet, who spoke of the courrent situation in Japan.
Masayoshi Son the richest man in Japan wants to revitalize the areas affected by the tzunami in northeastern Japan with a series of photovoltaic power plants.I think it's a good idea and i hope to happen in Italy.

I returned on this argument because i have it in my heart.
I checked news about after earthquake after that are spent seven mounths.
I found a good news, for me very interesting: 10.000 free airline tickets to travel in Japan in spring 2011.
This is an idea of the Agency of tourism of Japan after the natural decline following of events tragic that had hit Asian Archipelago
The intention is that to provide to the tourists who plan to visit the country a page of web where to apply for get this tickets.
The tourist have to specify in that town of japan you want to visit obviously excluding the disaster area.
The agency will select the winners between of all participants to this contest.
The winner have obligation to publish it on the web the own
experience of travel.
I hope to be between winners…………..
